The Butterfly
Butterflies are significant symbols of transformation, freedom, grace & rebirth & are here to remind us that we don't need to stay stuck in what is comfortable, & to become who we are meant to be over time.
The Colour
The theme colour pink is Viva Magenta - powerful & empowering. A shade rooted in nature, it signifies strength, inclusivity & a joyous & optimistic celebration of self expression
Note: It was Pantone Colour of the Year in 2023, the year the Hub was created!
The Logo
The butterfly is created from the letters WWH and combined they look like a woman with widespread arms. The butterfly is breaking free of the circle representing 'getting out there' & breaking boundaries.
The Number
According to numerology, Waipa Women's Hub AND our address, 321 Bank Street, equal the number 6!
'6' is associated with love, harmony & togetherness. It is believed to create a peaceful & emotionally secure environment, fostering a sense of calm & well-being. It is also associated with artistic expression & creativity & is just the place for social gatherings & intimate connections.
